Would you like to play a key role in the expansion and development of a company with huge growth potential in the field of green energy transition? Would you like to play an active role to protect the world by promoting and selling products and systems creating a sustainable shipping industry? We expect significant growth in the coming years and are looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager – Cargo Gas solutions who can join the New Green Solutions team reaching out to the potential.
New Green Solutions was established early 2024 and is DESMI’s incubator for new products and business development within the green energy transition. We work mainly with flow technology solutions for the new fuels being adopted by the global shipping industry, as well as flow technology solutions for Power-to-X and Carbon Capture.
To thrive as a Sales Manager - Cargo Gas solutions, you should have a solid engineering background or a related degree, providing a strong foundation for understanding value-based solutions and customer needs. You will play a crucial role in our growth journey, collaborating with an established network of local offices to identify opportunities and expand our customer base.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing and confident in handling unknown situations, with a hunter mentality that drives them to pursue new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be structured, with commercial acumen and negotiation skills. You should be ready to contribute to a highly dedicated team, bringing a proactive approach to growing the business and delivering exceptional customer value. A deep understanding of the maritime industry and technology is essential, as is the ability to travel extensively (60-80 days per year) to build and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the sales process from lead to order of cargo gas pump solutions directly with customers and in collaboration with our sales offices and New Green Solutions team.
  • Sales budget responsibilities and pipe-line management.
  • Support all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially including proposal generation.
  • Close coordination and training across the organization and interact with customers to promote our offerings, generate leads for growing the business.
  • Be motivated by new challenges for developing new sales and services according to customer needs and market developments.
    This position will report to the Commercial Director in New Green Solutions, DESMI Pumping Technology A/S in Nørresundby, Denmark, but will be part of a larger, international organization with the opportunity for global collaboration. This position entails global travel as dictated by customer demands, ensuring a harmonious balance between meeting international objectives, and maintaining personal work equilibrium.
