Description:

SUMMARY:

CREGG are currently recruiting a Sales Manager to join a leading manufacturer and installer of modular buildings in the North Kilkenny region.
As Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This pivotal role requires a dynamic individual with proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in selling modular building solutions and mobile homes. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and a skilled motivator, capable of building and maintain strong relationships with clients.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant Qualification and/or Proven track record of success in sales within construction industry/
  • Strong understanding of modular construction processes, products and markets.
  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Leadership and people management skills.
  • Must have a high level of teamwork and Engagement skills but be very capable of working under own initiative.
  • Competent in Microsoft office suite with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales, Strategy & Planning:

  • Work with General Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business objectives including revenue targets
  • Conduct Market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Gather customer feedback, in a formal method, to inform future planning and strategy
  • Develop pricing strategy – pricing models, discounts, promotional strategies etc.
  • Investigate new sales process & innovations and lead implementation eg CRM, Lead generation, workflow automation etc.
  • Lead all Quotation and tendering taking responsibility for coordinating all works to that point.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  • Act as primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing needs promptly and professionally.
  • Identify sales opportunities (cross selling and up-selling) to maximise revenue from existing customers.

Sales Performance Analysis:

  • Develop annual sales performance metrics and KPI’s
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance identifying areas of weakness and opportunity
  • Prepare monthly reports for senior management detailing sales performance month/ytd, forecast and general market condition/trend.
  • Implement corrective actions to address deviations from sales targets.

Financial Management:

  • Develop Process and Procedures for controlling sales process including financial transacting
  • Develop contracts for various sales activities (Mobile homes, simples sales, modular building etc).

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project team particularly in transition from sale to project start and project close/handover to client.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Assist in development of company strategy
  • Manage and develop sales personnel to complete sales and project administration.

Marketing:

  • Evaluate, determine and implement appropriate advertising/marketing opportunities
  • Collaborate with other senior management to align sales goals with overall company objectives
