JOB SUMMARY:

As a member of Digital Development, you will put on your product-oriented goggles and partner with the Product teams across E-commerce, POS, OMS, CRM, Loyalty, and Customer Service to release cohesive initiatives that stand the test of time. You will be focused on both the current and future states and will have the opportunity to lead the design and execution of technical architecture on the SFDC platform. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Technical Lead or Technical Architect who understands business problems and can remediate with ROI as top of mind.
As a Salesforce Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce Core & Service Cloud solutions to meet the needs of our organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, customize Salesforce to fit business processes, and ensure smooth implementation and integration with other systems. You will have the opportunity to mentor a Salesforce Developer and lead our team of consultants toward a win-win future.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Lead, Technical Architect, or Solution Architect experience leveraging an array of Salesforce products and external systems to deliver incremental value;
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Core and Service Cloud, including customization, configuration, and integration, and at least a year of experience with the Salesforce Loyalty Management module;
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, platform boundaries, and best practices;
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration methods and tools, including REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms;
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or Salesforce Technical Architect certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, document, and maintain a comprehensive SFDC/SFSC architecture that can be referenced at any given time for any given product stream by technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Configure and customize Service Cloud Console, Case Management, Knowledge Management, and other Service Cloud features to optimize the customer support experience;
  • Integrate Service Cloud with other SF systems, applications and third-party tools to ensure seamless data flow and process automation;
  • Manage and improve the current implementation of Salesforce Loyalty Management, focusing on its core modules like the Core Data Model, DPE, and Transaction Journal;
  • Manage integrations and develop APIs within Salesforce Loyalty Management to connect with other business systems effectively;
  • Routinely assess the health of the platform and work with the relevant Product Owners to prioritize enhancements while reducing tech debt;
  • Author sustainable processes and best practices across administration, development, and maintenance of our Salesforce ecosystem;
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and their impact on our implementation, highlighting the relevant feature additions and retirements and planning for their rollout;
  • Support a technical team member with career development, ensuring optimal work quality by performing code reviews and maintaining regular touch points;
  • Provide on-call availability during weekends and especially peak retail business periods to resolve emergencies and provide assurance to the thousands of employees who depend on your stack for their departmental objectives.
