This position is 100% remote.
A Technical Business Analyst can work independently and document and craft solutions with limited support from development team members. They are creative problem solvers with a hunger for ever-deepening knowledge and expertise in their topical area. They are self-starters and self-educators, recognizing any gaps in their skills and filling those.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis services for enterprise-level projects across various phases and platforms.
- Implement and manage features within Salesforce, encompassing activities like scoping, gap analysis, architectural design, module configuration, and documentation development for review and approval.
- Support Business QA testing efforts and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes.
- Perform administrative tasks within Salesforce, including custom object creation, flows, data migration, SOQL queries, report generation, dashboard creation, and platform maintenance.
- Install third-party managed packages, troubleshoot associated issues, and manage Jira tickets, including descriptions and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and review requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide training and support to end-users and power users on new system features.
- Facilitate communication and coordination across cross-functional teams and time zones, attending daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies as required.
- Engage in integration meetings with third-party systems for complex solutions, working closely with development team members to devise innovative solutions.
- Offer insights and recommendations to company leadership based on project insights.
- Uphold project methodologies and procedures, ensuring adherence across projects, platforms, features, teams, divisions, and company-wide processes.
- Coordinate with data analysts to understand and fulfill data requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to deliver work products on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of business analysis experience with a consulting or professional services firm (or other large enterprises).
- At least 3+ years of business analysis experience for technology or technology services implementation projects.
- At least 2 years of independently leading business requirements gathering and analysis of implementation projects for related technologies.
- Demonstrated successful solution crafting.
- Salesforce implementation or administration experience.
Preferred:
- Finance and accounting technology.
- Implementation of finance and accounting technology platforms.
