SAP ABAP Engineer (m/f/d)

We are working with a leading software vendor in South West Germany and are looking for an SAP ABAP Engineer to join the team in a hybrid working model.
The position would include two days onsite per week.
In this role, you’ll develop and implement quality SAP ABAP programs, work closely with business analysts to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet these requirements. REQUIREMENTS

• Expert knowledge of SAP ABAP development
• Strong analytical and logical skills, ability to quickly acquire thorough understanding in innovative technologies are necessary
• Strong communication skills and service orientation towards our end users and stakeholders
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP ABAP development experience with knowledge of S/4HANA
• Experience in CDS (Core Data Services), AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), RAP (RESTful Application Programming), SAP clean core concept, inApp extensibilities and adaptation projects

• Provide expert consulting and guidance services to clients, addressing their PPMS-related requests and issues
• Reliably operate, maintain and optimize the PPMS (Product and Production Management System) and SWDC (Software Download Center) backend systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PPMS and SWDC (focus on ABAP development)
• Contribute to the creation of comprehensive documentation of our services, including technical specifications and user guides (here we also exploit AI capabilities)
• Out of the consulting activities: drive continuous improvement together with the team. We are a unit that loves to learn and get better at what we do
• Whenever possible: Design, develop and maintain ABAP-based functionality in the area of PPMS and SWDC backend
• Together with the team and other stakeholders: ensure the successful delivery of projects
