DESCRIPTION:
Our client is looking for multiple SAP Consultants with various levels of End-to-End (E2E) Process Design experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing a framework by which to evaluate all E2E processes using a fit-to standard approach to evaluate what process changes need to occur to fit into S4 HANA standard configuration.
- Partnering with Governance, Organizational Change Management, Solutions Design, and Data teams to appropriately route analyses of alternatives to appropriate decision authorities.
- Leading cross-functional and cross-domain teams organized by each E2E process, referred to as E2E Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Sub-teams include but may not be limited to:
- BUDGET-TO-REPORT (B2R)SAP Modules: SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP CO (Controlling), SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), plus SAP Public Sector Management (PSM)
- PROCURE-TO-PAY (P2P)SAP Modules: SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management), SAP FI-AP (Accounts Payable), plus SAP PSM for Public Sector Funds Management.
- ACQUIRE-TO-RETIRE (A2R)SAP Modules: SAP FI-AA (Asset Accounting), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), plus SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management) for managing federal real property.
- PLAN-TO-STOCK (P2S)SAP Modules: SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), plus SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
- HIRE-TO-RETIRE (H2R)SAP Modules: SAP HCM (Human Capital Management)
- ORDER-TO-CASH (O2C)SAP Modules: SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP FI-AR (Accounts Receivable)
- PLAN-TO-REPORT (P2R)SAP Modules: SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), SAP BI (Business Intelligence), SAP CO (Controlling)
- Understanding how E2E business processes work in S4 HANA and mapping client processes to that standard. This will require a structured approach to researching (via data analysis and user outreach) the client’s current business processes and identifying what is different from S4 standard.
- Documenting all processes, including S4 standard processes, client current state processes, gaps in process, analysis of alternatives for each gap, and decisions about each gap (customize S4 or change the business process).
- Developing key metrics for each E2E that will be used while partnering with the Data team to baseline performance in the current SAP solution and establish a plan to continuously monitor these metrics throughout migration.
- Developing and implementing a strategy for process modeling and related data capture to drive fit-to-standard business process re-engineering.
- Developing use cases and user stories to be leveraged for system and process requirements documentation.
- Developing a controls environment for each end-to-end process, and providing financial statement audit expertise in order to do so.
Requirements:
- Recognized expertise in financial management, business systems, or accounting.
- Experience deploying functional and technical subject-matter expertise in a particular relevant field in support of State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000 employees).
- Senior Level (SME) requires 9+ years of relevant SAP experience including 6 years of experience leading business systems modernization/sustainment and related projects.
- Mid-Level roles require 3-6 years of relevant SAP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate technical field from an accredited institution. An additional (2) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Professional IT Certification - CISA (or similar) or Certification in (1) one or more relevant SAP Modules.
- Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Public Sector, or government regulated industry experience (i.e.: Aerospace & Defense) experience required. Army or Navy experience is preferred.
- Interim or Active Secret Clearance Required. (Clearance sponsorship for candidates with relevant experience may be available on a case by case basis.)
