KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to work shift hours that can include nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a work shift.
• Flexible, adaptable and strong, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good patience and professionalism
• Organized and reliable, with the ability to work to deadlines, through prioritization of tasks

• Load and offload cargo to and from company vehicles as directed by management.
• Pack, tape and label released packages from the cargo clearance area.
• Assist the company driver with cargo deliveries to the company’s retail store locations.
• Ensure all cargo is handled in a safe and professional manner, with a focus on ensuring customer packages remain in tact and free of damage, at all times.
• Clear, sort and pack all cargo, as directed by the Cargo Supervisor and management.
• Ensure cargo workflow procedures are followed with maximum efficiency.
• Verification of all packages at the various facilities in a timely manner.
• Perform inventory counts as needed.
• Work closely with the Customer Service team providing continuous updates on cargo operations and any issues which may potentially impact customers.
• Follow company communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
