Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Executive Manager - Business Development the Senior Bid Manager is responsible for ensuring the Y Victoria delivers high quality, on brief and impactful tenders and bids. These will support the outcome of the Y Victoria successfully renewing or winning the majority of service agreements we make Bids for.

The role will be across four key aspects; Bid Strategy, Bid Management, Financial Management Strategy and Analysis and Bid Writing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support initial assessments of new prospects in line with the agreed Growth Strategy.
  • Management of the pre-tender plan, including a review of any contract terms and contract progress from 12-24 months prior to the contract end date
  • Prepare and submit bids and other documents required for securing new business.
  • Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission.
  • Ensure the breakeven points for each product/service is accurately calculated and known by all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review the commercial aspects of tenders, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer.

This is a permanent full-time role with a total package up to $125,850 including super (dependent on experience). You’ll work from home and our Box Hill offices 1 to 2 days per week.

To be successful in the role you will have prior experience in a similar role with exposure to working in a B2B and B2G sales environment. You will possess a strong commercial awareness with the ability to think critically and meet tight deadlines. Other requirements include
