Introduction and Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Brand Manager with a strong track record in successfully launching brands and new indications in highly competitive market environments. In this role, you will work with our Hematology Portfolio, specifically focusing on a market-leading brand.
We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in cross-functional teams and is passionate about developing and driving strategic directions. Having an innovative attitude, a drive for success, profound marketing knowledge, and the ability to effectively translate scientific data into compelling messages will be critical to succeeding in this position.
As the Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive brand strategy and executing the marketing mix. You will also lead and coordinate various processes, including business planning, marketing plans, product management, market research, new product/indication launches, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing. It will be important for you to enhance the utilization of the brand strategies and marketing content developed by our European Marketing Organization. Additionally, you will have regular interactions with external customers. Overall, this role offers an exciting chance to create a significant impact in the field of brand management and contribute to the success of our Hematology Portfolio.

Objectives of the Position

  • Own the cross-functional teams priorities for designated brand, with the purpose to discuss and decide upon cross-functional matters and priorities and to ensure maximum business impact.
  • Develop and implement the local brand plan, using the EMEA strategy, including local strategy, tactical implementation as well as regional and key account planning. Ensure local partner’s needs and insights are reflected in the strategy and go to market model.
  • Responsible for the business performance of the assigned brands, i.e. ensure efficient execution of the marketing mix as defined by the brand and operational plans.
  • Develop and deploy a cross-functional and omni-channel communication and digital brand strategy with Medical Affairs, HEMAR and Public Affairs for each business cycle and ensure implementation based on validated editorial planning.
  • Implement promotional activities (advertising campaigns, multi-channel promotional activity, events, congress booths, marketing ad boards, etc) and local brand projects (eg patient support programs etc). Adapt promotional materials developed by the IBVT or other countries for the brands in scope. Only in specific cases build locally relevant content and materials.
  • Lead preparation of sales and cycle meetings for assigned brands, train and support field-based team on strategy and use of omni-channel campaigns, integrate feedback in further activities.
  • Analyze and understand competitive landscape, local market and customer needs and insights, using/crafting iConnect, and with regular external customers interactions and internal competitive workshops.
  • Member of EMEA marketing functional network.
  • Connect with key customers to build network relationship and partnership for market development.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education in e.g., natural sciences, business administration or similar field (required).
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in comparable Marketing/Business roles within the pharmaceutical industry (required).
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience from handling a market leading brand (required).
  • Experience within the therapeutic area Hematology (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
  • Proficient in Danish and English language (required).
