Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manages cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling resources in both company-owned and customer accounts. This includes implementing best practices for security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- On-Premise and Hybrid Infrastructure: Configures and supports on-premise systems and integrates them with cloud resources, ensuring seamless interaction and efficiency in hybrid environments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implements and maintains infrastructure using automation tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible to enable consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments.
- Cloud Migration: Develops and executes strategies for migrating existing on-premise systems to cloud environments, minimizing downtime and optimizing resources.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Utilizes monitoring and alerting systems (such as CloudWatch, Grafana) to track performance, availability, and costs across infrastructures, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Security and Compliance: Ensures that all cloud and on-premise systems comply with industry standards and best practices, including access controls, encryption, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Disaster Recovery: Designs and maintains disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Works closely with Network, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions align with both client and organizational goals.
