Job Description

  • Ensure the firm’s compliance with B-BBEE, Employment Equity and the relevant Codes of Good Practice.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the firm’s B-BBEE and transformation strategy, framework and approach in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure the firm maintains its Level one B-BBEE rating.
  • Provide expert B-BBEE advisory services to leadership and key stakeholders/champions across all the relevant B-BBEE elements including Sustainability Office, Procurement, Partner Culture Office, Office of the General Counsel, Learning and Development, DEI, Finance and HR Governance and Analytics.
  • Develop and implement the Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) strategies and tactics that engage key constituents, build brand awareness and support business objectives.
  • Align ESD with the Deloitte Supply Chain Management initiatives, where appropriate, and ensure all reporting requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance on all local and global practices/reports are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain ESD related policies and procedures.
  • Oversee adherence to budget, performance requirements and work plans to achieve ESD goals.
  • Evaluate company ESD initiatives compared to industry standards, trends, and best practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
  • Write, edit, and manage the ESD and BBBEE reporting requirements
  • Provide leadership and guidance on B-BBEE/ESD and collaborate with the DEI and broader People & Purpose teams, with strong emphasis on collaboration, coaching and developing colleagues and direct reports.
  • Support the Employment Equity (EE) Section 24 Manager and DEI Manager with the implementation of EE objectives as per EE Plan to ensure alignment with the B-BBEE Management Control Scorecard.

Provide support in the development and delivery of the AMF ALL IN strategy including Women’s Equity, Disability Inclusion, Neurodiversity, Mental Health and Inclusive Culture.
Qualifications
Degree in Social Science or Behavioural Science (BCom advantageous)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

3 years’ experience in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion portfolio, with specific focus on B-BBEE, Enterprise Supplier Development and Disability
Significant experience in B-BBEE, Socio Economic Development and Enterprise Supplier Development will be preferred
