About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide expert guidance and assist the Human Resources Manager in the provision of a range of complex human resources functions to Community and Oral Health ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Queensland Heath policy.

  • Ensure Community and Oral Health’s Human Resource practices and policies meet contemporary public sector requirements by regularly reviewing their efficiency and effectiveness and assisting in the ongoing development and implementation of quality improvement processes.
  • Contribute to the development, promotion, implementation and interpretation of Human Resources policies, practices and processes relating to employment within Community and Oral Health.
  • Manage case management and investigation of grievances, industrial matters and disputes, performance issues, health management, incidents and injuries, Workcover claims and workplace rehabilitation.
  • Provide expert advice and support to Community and Oral Health Executive, line managers, supervisors and staff on a broad range of workforce issues in a complex and diverse environment.
