A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Associate with 6+ years of PQE to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing strategic legal advice to major banks and technology clients, ensuring they navigate the complexities of environmental, social, and governance issues effectively.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years PQE in advising large financial institutions and technology firms—experience with insurance clients alone is not sufficient.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and enforcement actions in the UK and EU.
  • Experience in pre-cyber incident preparedness and handling cyber breach incidents.

In this position, you will advise high-profile banking and technology clients on a variety of matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Navigating UK and EU regulatory enforcement actions, providing expertise in compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Supporting clients in pre-cyber incident preparedness, helping them develop robust strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Engaging in cyber breach and ransomware incident response and litigation.
