Job Description
- Be uniquely you, come as you are
- Work for a market leading business
- Be a part of tangible change
As a Senior Data Analyst within our Analytics team—comprising over 200 passionate professionals—you’ll harness innovative data technologies to drive strategic initiatives across our dynamic business landscape. Working in a fast-paced agile environment, you will collaborate closely within vibrant, cross-functional squads, each laser-focused on specific business missions.
Regardless of the squad you work in, you will have the support of your Chapter around you; team members who share the same capabilities, that you can learn and grow from. We also encourage and provide freedom to hop between squads, mixing it up and expanding your skill set with every new challenge. Collaborating with diverse teams to develop and refine data-driven tools and applications that influence business strategies.
NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU:
- You are a collaborative team player. You’ll be working in a multi-functional squad (including another data analyst) looking to deliver the most value for the Fulfilment product pillar, where building connections and expanding on your knowledge and that of others will be key to solving difficult problems
- Self-motivated, you thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable navigating through ambiguity imposed by the matrix structure we work in and the shared decision making that goes with it
- You’re adventurous and proactive with data, constantly seeking new methods or tools to enhance understanding and outcomes for the business.
- You have advanced SQL skills and you have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP a plus) as well as proficient building data models with DBT.
- Your analytical prowess is matched with an ability to visualise data compellingly and high proficiency building reliable and efficient Tableau dashboards (PowerBI and Adobe dashboarding skills are a bonus).
- Communication is your strong suit; you translate complex data into clear, actionable insights by bridging the gap between data and business.
- You have demonstrated experience delivering quick results (Agile ways of working is a plus) as well as recommending and implementing data solutions for the long term.
- You have some experience mentoring other data analysts
- You may have prior experience in a Retail role that helps you understand the landscape you are designing your data products for (Fulfilment/Supply Chain domain knowledge is a big plus).
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining dashboards that not only serve functional purposes but are visually captivating.
- Owning your projects and ensuring the data architecture supports rapid growth and innovation.
- Utilising extensive databases to unravel complex queries that are as challenging as they are rewarding.
- Deriving insights from large amounts of data and translating this into a story that helps stakeholders and senior leaders understand, make decisions and drive action.
- Spreading data literacy and fostering a culture of curiosity and informed decision-making throughout the organisation.
