We help the world run better Our company culture is focused on helping our employees enable innovation by building breakthroughs together. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.
Responsibilities:
You will be part of a global ASE product engineering team supporting over six thousand customers running the ASE product on premise and increasingly moving to the cloud. You will work with product support and directly with customers to understand the problems they are facing, often relating to complex interactions within the ASE product and with the operating system and platform. You will help product support to resolve many issues directly without a software change, and engage with the appropriate engineering teams where needed to identify the source of issues customers are facing and to iteratively work towards a solution, which may include software changes from one or more group within the ASE product engineering team.
You will represent the interests of the customer to the rest of the product engineering team, in particular you will have a clear perspective on performance and end to end functionality that is different from team members who focus on specialized features or functionality.
You will know how to use the product in the ways that customers do, including building benchmarks and setups where we can reproduce issues that customers encounter. You will know key areas of the software and be able to debug complex issues.
