THE JOB ITSELF

An opportunity has arisen for two Senior Engineers to join our award-winning Civil Engineering Services Group. The group is responsible for delivering some of the most high-profile and prestigious infrastructure projects across East Riding of Yorkshire.
As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee a wide range of planned highway maintenance and road safety engineering projects, ensuring they meet relevant standards and adhere to the Council’s policies and procedures.
Applicants should be qualified to a HNC or equivalent in construction or related field and have post qualification experience. A good understanding and previous experience of managing planned highway maintenance or road safety schemes is essential. Applicants must also have in depth knowledge of the New Engineering Contract and experience of undertaking the role of NEC Project Manager.
