As a Senior Engineer Embedded Controls (f/m/d), you work together with our Electronics Hardware and Embedded Software team to develop real-time algorithms thoroughly shaping the cutting-edge performance of our devices. Help us bring a heartbeat into our products by
- Setting up software architectures that comprise real-time and non real-time structures
- Deriving performance specifications for the real-time parts from overall product requirements
- Shaping and implementing and validating control loops and signal processing structures
- Writing first-class code and ensuring quality through regular peer reviews, unit & integration tests and documentation
- Passing on your knowledge to other colleagues as part of your job
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable education
- You have several years of expertise in writing (low level) software for power electronics devices such as inverters, switch mode power supplies, amplifiers, or the like
- During your career, you gained profound expertise in the field of signal processing and control loops which allows you to lead the design of all parts relevant for such structures spanning analog and digital domain in order to achieve an outstanding overall device performance
- You have a very good understanding of the physical effects caused by voltage, current, temperature, etc.
- You have very good coding skills in C++, including good API design and object-oriented programming, C and ARM-Assembler
- Apart from excellent technical and people skills, you’ll be a problem solver and have a hands-on mentality
