Your role
As Senior Expert - Global Regulatory Monitoring (m/f/d) you will be part of our Global Substance Registration Team consisting of 9 multinational colleagues within our Regulatory Affairs, Toxicology & Product Safety Department. You will make sure of the correct interpretation of Draft legislation, regulations, guidelines, and policies of the EU Green Deal / CSS as well as Global Notification and communicate to all relevant business stakeholder to bring Symrise into a pro-active position.

This remote Position can be located anywhere within Europe.

  • You establish a dedicated role to monitor new regulatory developments, with focus on the EU Green Deal/CSS initiative and furthermore on a global scale to address both Safety and Regulatory aspects.
  • You’ll be an integrated part of the Global Substance Registration Group and with adjunct departments.
  • You inform, update and guide the Regulatory Affairs department in Fragrances respective customers and Business Units on relevant aspects to assure in time or even proactive communication.
  • You monitor, evaluate and anticipate relevance and impact of such new regulations to the various Symrise business units, besides the Regulatory and Safety groups.
  • You will be a dedicated subject matter owner but will be highly integrated with up- and downstream stakeholder and adjunct departments as well as leading project teams on specialized subjects.
  • You actively participate in relevant trade association groups, such as the IFRA CSS Strategy group.
  • You monitor global legislative and legal regulations e.g. for the Fragrance industry respective leader.
