We’re looking for an experienced Senior Lighting Artist to join in the pre-production stage of a AAA Original IP project. As one of the first Lighting Artists on the project, your expertise will be instrumental in helping shape the visuals of the game and ensure it stands out with stunning, top-tier graphics, and realistic lighting. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a talented team and make a significant impact from the early stages on an exciting new project.
Responsibilities:
- Light scenes, objects, and environments within the game to a high level of quality, ensuring alignment with the artistic goals of the project and gameplay objectives
- Develop, maintain, and optimize lighting setups, utilizing dynamic and static techniques, to create compelling visuals while adhering to technical specifications
- Collaborate closely with Tech Art, Graphics Engineering, and Production to establish the lighting pipeline, workflows, and visual benchmarks
- Leverage technical comprehension to participate as a key stakeholder in determining which feature sets to use to best serve the project
- Develop strategies on how to leverage UE5 to the fullest
- Determine where to invest on improving lighting beyond UE5, troubleshooting and solving technical challenges related to environmental lighting as needed
