As a Senior Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution known for its innovative risk management solutions. This role places you at the forefront of strategic risk analysis and regulatory reporting, leading efforts to assess and project operational risk impacts, including those related to climate change. You’ll coordinate cross-functional collaborations with global experts, ensure compliance in regulatory reporting, and shape risk assessment methods. This role is a unique opportunity to develop forward-thinking risk strategies that drive operational resilience.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading operational risk loss projections for global and climate-related stress testing
- Developing methodologies, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
- Coordinating inputs and validations from stakeholders, including Economists and Risk Stewards
- Driving short- and long-term exposure assessments through scenario analysis and modeling
- Embedding climate risk assessments into operational risk scenarios for global coverage
- Overseeing regulatory and loss reporting accuracy to the PRA and ORX
- Reviewing data quality and ensuring data remediation for regulatory compliance
- Engaging with stakeholders globally to standardize and document reporting interpretations
- Analyzing and providing insights on risk data to inform management decisions
- Liaising with auditors and independent reviewers to uphold compliance and quality standards
YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:
- Significant experience in operational risk management within banking or consultancy
- Proficiency in designing risk capital requirements and conducting stress tests
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with a focus on actionable insights
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to work across varied stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership in coordinating regulatory and compliance-related reporting
- Experience in climate risk assessment within the operational risk domain
- Strong familiarity with PRA reporting standards and requirements
- Knowledge of scenario analysis, risk modeling, and related methodologies
- Ability to develop and document risk policies and procedures effectively
- A degree in a quantitative field such as economics, finance, or data analytics
