JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Marketing Communications Consultant will report to the Director, Digital Investment Communications and lead all Sun Life Global Investments’ communications encompassing primarily an investment advisor audience.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complex investment ideas and operational processes into compelling, audience- and media-appropriate communications and content
- Develop, write and edit communications for a broad scope of investment-related messages, including regulatory changes, operational and process changes, product launches, renewals, and more
- Collaborate with content stakeholders in different functions, including compliance, product management, sales etc.
- Liaise with different digital publishing teams to plan, schedule and publish communications on time, considering turnaround times and service level agreements
- Own the publishing of a monthly newsletter to advisors, working to ensure the proper segregation of advisor information and content to allow the dynamic publishing to deliver the correct messages to intended audiences
- Participate in content ideas for advertising campaigns, unique headlines and story telling positioning
- Identify optimal channels through which communications will reach targeted audiences. Coordinate with SMEs, leadership members and other stakeholders to ensure key messages are captured and communicated in an accessible way to meet compliance, legal and brand standards
- Provide proofreading and editing support for diverse content
