JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business Unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
Being an experienced, talented and highly motivated individual with deep knowledge of the aerospace industry, exceptional problem solving and communication skills and having experience across strategy, analytics, marketing and business development, you are the right person to fill the Senior Marketing Manager role.
In this role you will provide leadership and support across the organization to align market requirements to the technical developments and Avio Aero value proposition and support the sales team.
As Senior Marketing Manager you will be responsible for assessing Avio Aero competitiveness on the market place and identify new business opportunities and additional leverages for competitiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Engineering Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the aerospace industry with specific focus on engines market
- Significant experience in the aerospace industry in a similar role
- Technical attitude to understand the products trends and developments and capability to support the value proposition creation
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment
- International exposure
- Fluency in Italian and English languages
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze Customers CTQs by gathering feedback from Sales Populations on use cases, selection criteria and functionality required
- Maintain and develop tools to enable customer segmentation and targeting and assess the best Value Proposition in terms of price/cost target and alignment with Customer needs
- Provide input roadmap, including high-level business requirements and prioritization criteria to cluster ideas and opportunities into logical product releases and develop marketing strategy, sales enablement and launch plans for new Campaigns
- Benchmarking – identify main industry/products trends and develop competitive profiles and assessments; including competitor size, successes, product offerings, positioning, price structure, etc.
- Project management – work with marketing, sales, technology, operations, communications and customer service teams to lead as required product initiatives
- Gather marketing requirements – document business case, VOC, value, design and prioritization
- Build strong relationship with internal key stakeholders to support the company Long Term Strategy review
- Work with the engineering department in the definition of the multi-generation product plan
- Liase will all the involved functions to support investor conferences
