Under the direct medical supervision of a physician, the MA with Limited X-ray License implements delegated aspects of care and assists in both direct and indirect patient care and routine diagnostic radiographic services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning) or has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months
• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
