Description:

Our cross-functional Engineering teams develop scalable and secure microservices and APIs for the different domains of our product. As Platform Engineer you are not only an individual contributor but support your team with a strong customer-centric mindset and a drive to take on ownership over product capabilities or technical components. Two-week sprints based on Scrum help our teams to self-organize their tasks and continuously improve the way they work to deliver value through our products for our customers. The Platform teams have a few different topics we are working on, you can take a look at the Platform Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure role for more information on the scope of everything we do.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?

As part of one Platform Team, you’ll work on optimizing visibility, reliability, and cultivating a ‘shift-left’ approach:

  • Elevate observability by enabling the engineering teams with sophisticated Application Performance Monitoring (APM), Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Infrastructure Monitoring. We don’t just build monitoring systems; we empower engineers.
  • Enhance and streamline our alerting systems, driving towards a proactive and actionable incident response paradigm.
  • Implement and upgrade efficient logging systems, always maintaining stringent security and privacy standards.
  • Manage and optimize our primary data stores alongside secure and efficient disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms.

Passionate colleagues who are looking forward to share knowledge (see our blog!) and learn from you.
You will be part of our larger development organization and contribute to cross-team knowledge building & sharing - with explicit options to share your knowledge across our entire company and beyond, e.g. on conferences
