Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Degree level or substantial experience in a similar role
  • Experience in contracting including NEC3 contracts, from preparation through to negotiation and administration
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Commercially astute and aware with significant experience within a commercial role, ideally with experience in telecoms / FTTP / FTTH infrastructure
  • Breadth of experience in supplier engagement; able to build relationships and influence outcomes

Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:

  • Negotiate construction contracts with our supply chain to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate closely with the Legal team to draft and finalise key contracts.
  • Lead and contribute to major tenders.
  • Develop and define contractor strategies and oversee their implementation in designated regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our approach and related processes, including workflow tools and reporting
