Description:
SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER
As a senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping our exciting, nascent multi-product experience and our newly created design language.
The role sits within the Product Design team; part of the Product department, a group of talented Product Managers, Analysts and other Product Designers. Each with slightly different responsibilities, we are all committed to identifying problems, addressing opportunities and delivering smart solutions together. You will work closely and collaboratively, with Product Managers, Analysts and Engineers to create experiences that are undoubtedly intuitive, engaging and strategically driven.
We prioritise a lean, fast paced, iterative and data driven approach to design. We hope to speak with applicants who have an evident record in following similarly effective ways of working.
If you want to be part of a dynamic product org and make a positive impact on small business owners and the economy, through your skills as an experienced Product Designer, then we’d love to hear from you.
Please note, the minimum expectation for office attendance is two to three days per week in our central London office.
Responsibilities:
- Autonomously lead end-to-end design projects from kickoff to QA
- Ensure user experience designs meet user needs and business goals
- Explore solutions and initial design ideas through diagrams, sketches and lo-fi collaterals
- Develop detailed designs, working through user flows, wireframes and eventually production UI for both web and native experiences.
- Create UI mocks, specifications files and and interactive prototypes
- Work with, create and maintain design systems
- Plan and conduct user research and user testing
- Closely support engineers in building features and products off design proposals
- Proactively manage design process timelines
- Effectively pitch and win support for design proposals
- Identify and drive user experience improvements and design initiatives based on qualitative and quantitative insight
