Senior Project Manager (BESS)

Randstad has partnered with a specialist in C&I and utility scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Australia and abroad! As Australia continues increase it’s adoption of renewable energy, our client is offering cutting-edge, plug-and-play turnkey solutions. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager that will play a highly important role in overseeing a portfolio of projects from initiation through to execution.

Reporting to the General Manager, these are things you will be tasked with doing:

• Overseeing a portfolio of small to medium sized projects.
• Strong emphasis on C&I and utility scale BESS projects, cost / program planning, stakeholder management, OH&S & compliance.
• Supervising and mentoring junior project specialists in the business.

In essence, if you have worked in a similar role for a company either in Power & Renewables or Infrastructure at a high level then these responsibilities should be second nature. As well as working in a similar role, my client is keen to look at candidates with the following:

• Proven experience managing a portfolio of small to medium sized projects, ideally bringing 12+ years post-graduate experience.
• Minimum Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience working in either Power & Renewables or Infrastructure sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
• Ambition, drive & the hunger to progress and better yourself.
