Napier City Council has an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Infrastructure Directorate’s Project Management team, responsible for delivering many of Council’s infrastructure projects and contracts. This Senior Project Manager’s role is key to Council’s planning, organising, leading, and controlling a diverse range of large and complex projects.
Supported by the talented and passionate project management team, you will work with other stakeholders, both external and internal to co-ordinate the delivery of long range and short-term projects. You will oversee all aspects of the projects lifecycle, including budgets, time and resource planning, and managing the ongoing progress reporting.

• Managing higher profile / higher risk / or larger projects, involving the coordination of other project management staff, phases of which may be delegated to others
• Managing programs of work that are ongoing over multiple years
• Attending and presenting at Council Committee meetings as required.
