Description:

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Mulgowie Farming Company is currently seeking applications from experienced quality controllers OR packhouse workers with a quality experience/background, to work within the Senior Quality Control Team at our Mulgowie Packhouse facility, located in Bowen, North Queensland. As part of a small tight knit team, you will provide independent verification of all front-line food safety and quality activities, supporting the Operation Teams in continuous improvement activity and escalating issues as appropriate.
YOUR ROLE
- Actively support and participate in team meetings such as operations meetings, toolbox talks and training sessions.
- Support the Teams in providing training and ongoing support around key quality activities and provide feedback to the Teams on customer feedback and nonconforming activities.
- Maintain required documentation and contribute to the development and enhancement of the Operations Team through providing applicable training and toolbox delivery.
- Ensure employees are completing training and documentation / record keeping in accordance with Mulgowie Farming Company standards.
- Support adherence to quality procedures and processes by coaching and mentoring site operations.
- Proactively support the teams by monitoring adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Monitor and comply with internal audit and verification maps / calendars across the site.
- Ensure all relevant documents are completed in support of the QMS and training requirements.
