Are you seeking a chance to stretch your technical expertise while enhancing the quality of cyber security solutions utilized by millions globally? Do you identify as a software developer who prioritizes quality? We’re looking for an seasoned Quality Engineer specializing in test automation. Your primary focus will be testing on cloud native backend system on AWS.
In this role, you’ll be ensuring the quality of Protection Platform analysis system. You’ll play an important role in expanding and refining our cloud-based test automation and enhancing the quality of our system. Your contributions will directly impact the security and protection of millions of individuals online, safeguarding their home and mobile devices from malware and cyber threats.
Our ‘Protection Platform’ team is in Helsinki, Finland. The team’s purpose is to provide an answer for a simple question, ‘Is this safe’, for F-Secure’s products and partners. The question is simple, but when repeated billions of times for millions of different objects, it requires a lot of engineering work and talent to make it in a cost effective and performant manner. We have flexible remote work practices, but our team enjoys gathering at the office every now and then for team building and co-working. We hope this is something you would enjoy as well.

Assure the quality of Protection Platform analysis system.
Expand and improve our Protection Platform test automation, both test coverage and framework (Python, AWS).
Design, write, and maintain automated test cases based on user feedback and product requirements.
Help your team constantly refine quality gates to ensure a high-confidence, high quality release pipeline.
Initiate and assist in improving the team’s ways of working. We want you to watch, learn, and question our thinking of how software should be built.
Initiate and assist in improving development and test tooling throughout the whole of R&D.
Communicate, document, and maintain defect reports and quality statistics.
What are we looking for?
Good understanding of Quality Engineering practices and terminologies from working life.
Test automation experience on backend systems.
Programming skills in Python and ability to write clean code.
You enjoy working in English in a global work environment. Our organization language is English.
