THE JOB

We have been experiencing growth and are looking for an ambitious and technically minded individual to bring the support to the next level.
As our new Senior Sales Support Engineer, you will support external sales for the Central Europe market which covers Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Netherland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia
The position is located in one of our offices (Hamburg or Langenfeld) in Germany. However, you will have the possibility to work remote for up to two days per week. Your colleagues within the team spread over several sites in Poland, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany and Denmark.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for supporting a designated list of customers and account managers mainly in DESMI GmbH, by preparing quotations and answer our customers´ during quotation phase.
You will visit customers together with the area sales managers and build up a close relationship with the designated customers and account managers and understanding of each customer´s specific needs.

You will be working hands on DESMIs products via a wide variety of tasks. Among those are:

  • Unit selections (pumps, motors, frequency converters, accessories),
  • Offers preparation for complex deliveries eg. pump packages,
  • Technical support and active cooperation with Sales Department, Supply Chain and R&D,
  • Contacts with customers and suppliers,
  • Preparation and completion of documentation,
  • Act as Connection between customers, sales and Supply chain/R&D

You will get a broad network internally in the organization as well as externally with customers.
