Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role requires extensive knowledge of ServiceNow, exceptional programming skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Specifically, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform to support GCID ITSM/ITOM processes in incident, problem, change, service request, event or CMDB areas.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture requirements for all stories.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Work closely with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and administrators.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the platform.
  • Implement enhancements and optimizations to improve the overall performance of ServiceNow solutions.
