THE OPPORTUNITY: SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

At HealthTrust Europe (HTE), we are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Business Solutions team, where you can make a difference within your role, take pride in your work and be part of a team that is taking the company into a new and exciting era
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be working within the Catalog360 team, which is a bespoke e-Procurement platform that provides comprehensive end-to-end procure to pay (P2P) solutions for organisations. You will have a strong technical background, be able to understand, write code, and perform code reviews, demonstrating experience of developing applications, including modelling, security, testing and deployment. You will be required to analyse business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with minimal supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Experience and understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles using object orientated design (OOD).
• Strong experience in backend technologies including C#, .NET Standard, .NET Core, Entity Framework, MVC, SQL, RESTful Services, Web API and Unit Testing.
• Strong experience in front end technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, React, Node JS, HTML and CSS.
• Experience in Angular would be beneficial.
• Experience in Azure Cloud Development such as Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions and Cloud Events / Queues.
• Experience in infrastructure management such as AWS infrastructure, Azure automation, Azure Cloud Portal and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) would be beneficial.
• Strong experience in version control utilizing technology such as Azure DevOps or GIT.
• Experience in developing responsive solutions for desktop and handheld devices.
• Experience and understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience and added value.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The wider development team utilizes Salesforce, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Application Express (APEX) and any experience of these technologies would be beneficial.

OTHER DUTIES

• Supports production and maintenance of application documentation.
• Proactively researches and enhances own knowledge to ensure that the latest trends and technologies can be considered for future enhancements.
• Attends relevant industry events to further knowledge.
