Senior Software Engineer (Remote in Europe or UK)

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Recent experience working in a Software Engineer role building Java API services.
• Experience building and running applications in AWS
• Experience building Spring or Spring Boot applications.
• SQL experience (ideally with Oracle, Aurora or Postgres databases)
• Growth mindset, curious to learn about card issuing and the payments industry
• Excellent communication in English and great collaboration skills
• Comfortable coaching other engineers and providing feedback on code reviews

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT VITAL TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• Prior background in payments industry
• Open API spec documentation generation
• Test driven development with jUnit
• Using AWS CDK to build cloud deployments

In this role you are going to be architecting, designing and developing APIs and systems that provide essential functionality that helps our customers grow their business and will be the cornerstone of the Enfuce service offerings for the foreseeable future as we build out our next-generation cloud native modular API.
We are looking for people who are focussed on writing high-quality scalable code, and can take ownership of key deliverables and contribute to our fast-paced, ambitious team.
This role will directly support Enfuce’s mission to deliver flexible, scalable, and secure payment solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction and business efficiency.
What will you be doing?
You will be working along with experienced software engineers and domain experts who have years of experience in understanding the Mastercard and Visa scheme specifications, and our talented product managers who ensure we build the right thing for all our current and future customers.
