We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Telegraf engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining our open-source data collection agent installed on millions of machines worldwide. Your role will be to develop new plugins and functionalities in Golang, interact with our open-source community and maintain the current code-base including code-reviews.
This role is remote, Canada, USA, UK, and Western European time zone residents preferred.
The application window will be open until at least January 31, 2025. This opportunity will remain online based on business needs which may be before or after the specified date.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Open Source community to improve Telegraf
  • Design and implement new features of Telegraf as a team
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues and address bugs
  • Communicate in writing and develop publicly with the Telegraf community
