Description:

This global firm in the wealth and fund services sector is currently seeking an Senior Tax Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of client deliverables with a focus on tax for finacial instruments in the superannuation and investment managmetn space. This includes using your knowledge of taxtion laaws and regulations, tax researach, and providing tax planning and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review of Tax deliverables for Investment Manager and Super clients such as distributions, BAS, tax return
  • Tax research and the application of tax laws and regulations
  • Review and analysis of financial statements to identify tax implications
  • Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to provide updates on tax-related matters
  • Continuously stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • EXperienfce as a tax adcountant in a chartered firm (big 4 prferred) or in a similar role within funds managment
  • CPA/CA certification preferred
  • Experience with global tax laws and regulations is a plus
