Description:
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience (min. 5 years) of successfully liaising with customers regarding logistics for event planning.
- Experience (min. 5 years) in international tradeshows and events.
- Experience (min. 5 years) in project management (including managing allocation of work within project group/leading conference calls, managing budgets)
- Proven experience of working with multiple contacts and colleagues within a matrix structure
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer focused
- Highly organised with good prioritisation and planning skills
- Proactive, dynamic and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable in approach; able to work effectively under pressure, delivering to deadlines.
- Able to work well autonomously and within a team
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
- Fluent in German is a plus
- Travel requirement may be up to 30%
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE
To coordinate, plan and implement BSC presence at EMEA based tradeshows and events to support the business objectives. Provide general event planning. Coordinate tradeshows, external and internal events such as customer events , sales meetings, channel partner meetings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage tradeshows and major events for all divisions including planning, establishing specific goals and objectives, budget management, schedules, side meetings, external and internal communication tools, potential customer events.
- Act as a project leader on international tradeshows and work as a partner with the marketing project leader, including call management and team management, ensuring that agreed internal processes are respected.
- Manage housing and registration using Cvent platform, booth catering, communication tools.
- Contribute to the implementation of Boston Scientific key event programs (Sales meetings, virtual kick off, channel partner meetings et al.)
- Contribute to the continuous development of Boston Scientific’ image and constantly strive for optimizing brand exposure.
- Demonstrate best-in-class service orientation by putting the customers, internal and external, as #1 and behave consistently.
- Ensure external communication tools meet legal and regulatory guidelines (PSST process & APPROVE submission)
- Foster collaboration with EMEA Tradeshow and Event team to optimize resources and ensure synergistic brand exposure.
- Collaborate with cross-divisional and cross-functional business partners at all levels of the organization.
- Events: Organize internal or external events including location research, budget management, and logistics management including rooming list, transfers, dinners, branding of the event/signage and agenda. Manage production agency.
- Act as a consultant in support to local country teams in the organization of local congresses.
