EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL STAFF
Shaftesbury Education is seeking to appoint an experienced Facilities and Compliance Manager to lead the strategic management of our estates and compliance functions.
As part of the disability charity, Shaftesbury, we run a special school in Poole, Dorset, and two post-16 colleges for students with a range of disabilities and communication needs.
Our vision is for our education centres to deliver high quality teaching and opportunities that prepare children and young people for fulfilling future lives.
In this role, you will develop and maintain the Estates Strategy and Asset Management Plan for our sites, ensuring the operational management supports educational priorities.
You will work collaboratively to ensure high standards of compliance, health and safety, and effective resource management.
Previous experience setting and working to financial budgets and timeframes is essential, as is an ability to use data to manage expenditure and resource allocation.
You will be confident working independently as well as line managing a team across our three education sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing external contractors, ensuring all work is carried out to expected standards. Experience in project management, strategic planning and risk management is desirable.
This is an exciting time to join our organisation as we look to further develop our education provision.
Shaftesbury Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students and staff, and it is the responsibility of all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS and will follow our rigorous safer recruitment processes.
