Description:

Kal Tire is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist at our Dartmouth location. QUALIFICATIONS AND SUCCESS

  • Hold a clean and valid driver’s license.
  • Prioritize safety and contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver large tires.
  • Shipping and receiving work experience is a plus.
  • Double-checking orders, ensuring correct labeling, and inspecting received goods for damage are all vital tasks.
  • Efficiently managing inventory, maintaining records, and coordinating shipments require strong organizational abilities.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily Shipping and Receiving: Efficiently manage the incoming and outgoing flow of tires and wheels.
  • Physical Stamina: Excel in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and movement throughout the shift.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area, contributing to the overall organization of the store’s warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare inventory for monthly counts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
