We have a fantastic opportunity for a experienced Site Manager to join our prestigious contract in Somerset to construct a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Facility. The initial phase of the project includes the design and construction of a new 15GWh lithium-ion battery facility, ancillary buildings, and site-wide external works

As a member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, coordination and management of a number of sub-contractor employed in a variety of trades within the respective area of works. Packages including steel frame and structure.
The role requires a high level of interfacing between internal departments and external agencies, such as Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, Sub-contractors, Client agents, Clerk of Works and Site Staff. Coordination and management of sub-contractors. Ensure SRM obligations to sub-contractor are understood and discharged.
You’ll also organise and conduct regular site progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress, quality and safety, ensuring the Chief Engineer and Project Manager/Project Director are updated on all issues
