Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years experience leading social media for a major brand, content strategy, social media marketing, or other relevant experience.
- Must excel at driving an editorial process that effectively balances ensuring high quality standards, leverage of expertise throughout the team, and making quality decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media management and publishing software (Sprinklr/Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Ability to leverage SEO and other tools to deliver relevant content that users are looking for in the moment and how to create content that drives action.
- Being an inspirational spokesperson to champion the program with the ability to deliver highly effective executive level presentations.
- Deep understanding of the rapidly evolving social and digital media environments including emerging industry impacting trends, platforms capabilities, and experience drivers.
- Must be a quick learner and a self-starter who can take ownership of opportunities to evolve the offering and collaboratively work with partners to execute solutions.
- Skilled at driving outcomes rooted in a clear insight-driven strategy.
- Must possess cultural awareness to best cater to the diverse communities we serve.
- Passion for investing and how to simplify the learning experience to help everyday investors and traders reach their financial goals. Completion of related accreditation is preferable but not specifically required (e.g. CSC, CPH, DFOL, a CFA or MBA).
Responsibilities:
REPORTING INTO THE ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT, TD DIRECT INVESTING CLIENT EDUCATION, YOU WILL SHAPE THE SOCIAL VOICE AND DIRECTION FOR AN INDUSTRY-LEADING TEAM OF DIY INVESTING CONTENT CREATORS. WE’RE LOOKING FOR A HIGHLY SKILLED INDIVIDUAL WHO CAN HELP GROW OUR SOCIAL COMMUNITY. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Create and evolve a winning social media strategy for TD Direct Investing based on a deep understanding of social media users, platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, X, TikTok, etc.), trends, and business objectives.
- Develop and manage our social media content roadmap that aligns content to the social media strategy and effectively prioritizes across user demands and segmentation strategies.
- As the Product Owner for all social content, provide leadership to the content delivery pod for all social content to ensure that content meets intended objectives.
- As the people manager for the Community Manager and Social Creative Manager provide direction and leadership of the social team for them to excel and grow in their roles and careers.
- In collaboration with marketing partners, drive the paid social media strategy with best practices aimed at growing our social community.
- Gather, analyze, and act on key insights to help drive progress towards objectives and refine the social media strategy.
- Research and identify new social media trends that can be leveraged to deliver engaging investing and trading content adapted for the expectations of social users.
- Work closely with control partners to ensure that TD Brand standards and all compliance, legal, and other regulatory guidelines are adhered to. Where required, identify and mitigate high-risk matters that originate in social media.
- Oversee our community/user engagement and response program, which includes performing periodic reviews to determine if procedures are being executed as required
