Description:
OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
ZeroFox seeks a highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong DevOps background to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and managing microservices architectures, with a focus on containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm/Charts. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability and scalability of APIs, streamlining the processing of large datasets, and working within AWS cloud environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Operational experience with microservices architectures and its associated design patternsExperience with containerization, orchestration and deployment technologies such as Docker, K8s and Helm/ChartsDesign high availability APIs to streamline the processing of a large datasetExperience in the design, implementation, and execution of highly technical development projectsThe ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and to lead/drive projects as necessaryStrong verbal and written communication skills
- The desire to continuously learn and be exposed to new technologies and an equally strong talent for sharing knowledge clearly and effectively with others
- Experience with working in an Agile team, and an enthusiasm for working collaboratively within and across product teams
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments
- A DevOps mindset and desire to ship great software
- Strong understanding of data structures
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Full-Stack and Dev-Ops experienceExperience and ability to work in FedRAMP environments
- Experience distributing private helm charts to on-prem K8 cluster
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage microservices architectures, focusing on high availability and scalability.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm/Charts for deployment and management.
- Work closely with Agile product teams, contributing to the design and execution of technical development projects.
- Operate within AWS cloud environments, leveraging your experience to optimize and maintain the infrastructure.
- Independently lead and drive projects, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Continuously learn and integrate new technologies, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
