As a Software Engineer at Vuo AI, you will play a key role in building and maintaining features within the FixFood application. Your focus will be on creating a seamless, personalized experience for users by developing a range of features that combine gamification, AI-driven personalization, and real-time interaction. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative products that change the way people plan meals and cook, while engaging in meaningful software development that touches on both front-end and back-end technologies. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oulu.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Software Development Expertise: Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable software applications, ideally within mobile and web platforms.
• UI/UX Focus: Strong understanding of user interface and experience design, particularly in developing interactive and gamified applications.
• Proficiency in AI and Data Integration: Experience working with AI technologies, including LLMs, and integrating data-driven personalization into applications.
• Front-End and Back-End Development Skills: Knowledge in developing front-end interfaces and back-end systems, ensuring smooth and responsive performance across devices.
• Experience with Real-Time Features: Familiarity with real-time features, such as live data updates, and their implementation in collaborative environments.
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and AI specialists, to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions.
• Adaptability in a Startup Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup, ready to take on varied responsibilities and contribute to shaping the product and company direction

• Develop and Maintain Core Features: Drive the development and ongoing enhancement of our cutting-edge recipe, meal planning and grocery management features, ensuring they deliver a seamless and personalized user experience.
• Enhance Multi-Group Functionality: Lead the creation and optimization of multi-group capabilities, enabling users to effortlessly coordinate and manage meal plans across different groups.
• Optimize User Experience: Focus on building and refining LLM powered user interfaces that simplify decision-making, providing personalized options and managing user preferences with ease. Develop the delegation systems, which allocates cooking tasks among group members based on their skills, contributions, and personal goals.
• Integrate User Engagement and Gamification Features: Create engaging features that boost user interaction through real-time feedback and skill progression tracking.
• Support Back-End and Web Integration: Ensure seamless integration between our back-end services and web interfaces, enhancing user onboarding, recommendations and profile management.
