The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit (SCDO) is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.
What you’ll do
We are looking for an Expert Program Manager (f/m/d) within the Security & Compliance unit within the Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations (SCDO) organization.
In this role you will lead communication and deliverables for the Security & Compliance unit by partnering with cross-functional teams to lead key strategic and critical initiatives including supporting the core operations and business cadence.
You will be accountable for the success, quality, security, reliability and delivery of the Shared Management Services (SMS) product for the Delos Program, as well as other complex projects. You will ensure efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in multiple areas for the Security & Compliance unit. You will be responsible for building strong interaction across organizational boundaries.
You will support the creation of business cases where appropriate, analyze internal and customer requirements to translate external needs into internal objectives. You will ensure the Security & Compliance deliverables are in sync with internal and external expectations.

What you bring

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• PMI Project Management Professional or similar certification
• AWS and/or GCP certification or similar experience
• Proven experience in managing projects that span several functions cross teams and cross board areas.
• Protecting investments in excess of millions of Euros per year
• Developing methods for monitoring and reporting progress and addressing risk across multiple levels of accountability
• Influencing continuous improvement across multiple teams and roles
• Ability to manage through ambiguities while being innovative and collaborative
• Strong technology skills and the willingness to learn new topics quickly
• Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically, delivering services to meet stakeholders’ demands on a timely basis
• Excellent knowledge of SAP and the SAP solution portfolio
• Cultural awareness, intercultural competencies, and ability to influence without formal authority
• Ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
• Persistence, self-motivation and willingness to work under pressure
• Experience in sovereign environments is a plus.
• English (fluent), German is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience with a successful track record of leading geographically dispersed engineering projects and cross-functional program teams
• 4+ years of experience managing technical programs within SAP
• Proven track record in end-to-end implementation initiatives
