Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated professional Spa Receptionist to join our Spa team at The Barnsdale.
The hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.

You will:

  • Greet and welcome all guests to the Spa in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assist with show rounds.
  • Answer phone calls / emails in a timely manner & book in guests for treatments, classes, tennis etc
  • Keep the Spa reception clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure that your general hotel knowledge is kept up to date including Restaurant opening hours, Hair and Nail salon opening hours etc
  • Ensure your Treatment knowledge and Gaia product knowledge is at its best.
  • Assist with general Spa cleaning duties as required.
  • Assist with linen stocks.
  • Always ensure that the Spa is well stocked with clean towels.
  • Conduct regular pool / Health & Safety checks.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and team meetings for the Spa, including Pool Emergency Responder & Pool Plant training.
  • Complete open / close procedures including putting “payments” through.
  • Assist in all areas of the Spa operation as requested by management.
  • Ensure all Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to along with all other legal requirements of the business.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
