JOB DESCRIPTION

Our highly successful client, a prominent truck and trailer accident repair company based in Palmerston North, is currently seeking an experienced Paintshop Foreman/Spray Painter to join their team. The company offers top-quality working conditions, modern workshop facilities, and an extensive ongoing training and support system.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant automotive qualifications
• Experience in paintshop workflow management
• Experience in prepping & spray painting vehicles
• A good attitude
• A strong health and safety focus
• A current NZ driver’s license
• Good organization skills
• A good work ethic and listening skills
• Ability to receive instructions in both written and verbal formats
• Enthusiastic, open to learning, and able to communicate respectfully and efficiently with customers and co-workers

BENEFITS

• Hourly Rate: $35 to $42 depending on experience
• Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Overtime: Currently available at the standard contracted rate
