Sprinkler Sales and Design Engineer

Emtec Fire Systems, a leading provider of fire protection solutions across the country and are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Sales and Design Engineer to join our team at our HQ in Uddingston.
As a Sprinkler sales and Design Engineer you will be focused on creating compliant Sprinkler System designs according to current British standards and which align with our client’s requirements. You will work closely with the team and Senior Project Manager where you will play a crucial role in the success of the business.

• Develop Sprinkler system Designs based on client requirements ensuring current standards and best practices are adhered to.
• Review technical specifications to gain a thorough client needs.
• Utilise expertise to select the most suitable components and systems for each project.
• Create comprehensive design documentation, including drawings and technical reports.
• Perform battery design calculations.
• Generate technical content and supporting documents to support quotes and tenders.
• Coordinate with suppliers for technical data and pricing and prepare estimates and customer quotations.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Assist with Sprinkler audits and support the wider team on all fire and Security matters.
