Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in managing highly available MS-SQL environments.
- Strong background in SQL development and performance tuning.
- Experience with synchronized, distributed SQL architectures.
- Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Understanding of SQL security, encryption, and compliance with industry standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Ability to be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with DTS/ETL processes.
- Programming skills in languages relevant to database management.
- Automotive industry or dealership experience is a plus.

We develop online parts selling systems, service quoting and inspection solutions, data analysis, predictive marketing, and eCommerce solutions.
Position Overview: The SQL/Data Operations Manager will be a hands-on leader responsible for managing all operational responsibilities of the SQL Operations and data teams in the Infomedia Atlanta Office.
The role involves owning the SQL ecosystem by ensuring system health, performance, and availability.
The candidate will also collaborate with development teams to enforce standards, manage SQL code review, and ensure the database environment aligns with operational needs. Knowledge of high availability technical environments, performance optimization, and operational best practices is critical.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revamp and overhaul of roadmap to align with key business objectives
- Schedule and plan work for team in accordance with the roadmap
- Tasking and staying on top of assigned work items
- Lead proactive 24/7 monitoring and support for highly-available SQL environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Enforce SQL code and schema development standards by conducting regular code reviews with team members
- Develop and implement global standards for security, including compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and encryption standards.
- Continuously analyze and optimize SQL performance, including tuning Stored Procedures and Functions, Index management, and optimizing MS-SQL configurations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Regularly audit the SQL environments, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
