Description:
RDQ424R30
At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world’s toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world’s best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business. Founded by engineers — and customer obsessed — we leap at every opportunity to solve technical challenges, from designing next-gen UI/UX for interfacing with data to scaling our services and infrastructure across millions of virtual machines. And we’re only getting started.
We’re looking for a Sr. Engineering Manager to build and establish the Unity Catalog team in Berlin. Unity Catalog is a unified governance solution for data and AI assets on the Databricks Lakehouse. It provides centralized access control, auditing, lineage, and data discovery capabilities across Databricks workspaces.
As one of the core infrastructure components, Unity Catalog interfaces with almost every major component in the Databricks infrastructure. As a Sr. Engineering Manager, you will be leading critical initiatives, solving deeply technical problems, while also collaborating with Senior leaders in other teams to deliver solutions that spread across multiple services. Today, Unity Catalog is still in its infancy and you have the opportunity to shape the infrastructure and the strategy of one of the most critical pieces of the Data Lakehouse platform.
OUR COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
