JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education
1. Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare, science, social sciences or research.
Experience
1. Proficient in MS office applications and project management software.
2. Proficient in English and Mother Tongue
3. Have a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Clinical research, Clinical trial process and related regulatory requirements and terminology
4. Medical and Research Ethics
5. Communication skills
6. Problem-solving skills
7. Excellent in organizational and time management skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including external presentations, contracts and internal documents
9. Strong capacity to plan and monitor projects
10. Certification in Project Management Profession (PMP) is optional

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

  1. To provide administrative and operational support to all activities related to the Principal Investigator (PI) research projects.
  2. To work with respective team members to ensure that the work is proceeding well and on time.
  3. To be responsible for budget management, progress of projects, and personnel management under his or her charge and report in the quarterly project charter.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific
1. To note and collate all research account related information and assist the PI in tracking and managing the utilization.
2. To manage research accounts and budgets. Liaise with Finance Department and support PI to submit claims and projections.
3. To liaise and work with with vendors, human resource, grant bodies, internal partners and external collaborators.
4. To assist in grant submission and grant variation submission if needed. Keep track of the outcome.
5. Consolidate research account once study completed or grant ended and to advice research office (WORDS) and finance accordingly.
6. Liaise with the necessary parties for archiving of study documents through the study period while maintaining the site investigator file.
7. Assist PI to organize/coordinate research meetings.
8. Assist PI in the submission of ethics (NHG Domain Specific Review Board) applications, grant applications, progress reports to funding agencies and NHG DSRB and ensure the timelines are maintained.
9. Oversee the completion of project tasks and monitor adherence to perpetual project management process standards.
10. Be able to follow-up on open items and track issues in accordance to the project timelines.
11. Assist the PI in resource allocation, task-planning and progress reporting.
12. Support each phase of the project from conceptualization to implementation.
13. Provide administrative support for the project
14. Mentor new and junior staff and help to promote a working environment of collegiality and effective teamwork.
15. Maintain timely and accurate records of patients’ information, including all research procedures performed.
16. Support data collection (quantitative and qualitative) for research participants
